Who we are

At Unsalted Boat Washes, we are passionate about boating and ensuring you look great while on the water. Growing up in midcoast Maine, I have always been surrounded by water and boats. Through my experience at a local marina, I’ve recognized that quality boat wash services are quite rare. This is where we come in. Based in midcoast Maine, we offer premium boat cleaning and marine detailing services throughout Knox and Lincoln County. If you're located outside of these counties, we can still arrange a service for you with a small additional fee.

How to book an appointment

Appointments for our boat cleaning and marine detailing services are scheduled via phone call only. This allows us to understand exactly what you are looking for, as we know no two boats are the same. Call us at (207) 975-1507 or send an email to avphil22@hotmail.com to discuss our services.

Our Services

At Unsalted Boat Washes, we provide a variety of boat washing services tailored to your specific needs. Our offerings include hull waxes and buffs, marine detailing, and thorough wash downs. If you're interested in a specific service that isn't listed, feel free to contact us by phone.

Requirements

Our boat washing services can be performed either on the hard with water accessible nearby or at a dock. Please check with your marina's requirements before scheduling an appointment for marine detailing. Note that water fees will be added to the bill if your marina charges for premium boat cleaning. For boats on the hard, same thing applies.

Fees

Boat wash Under 30’

For a boat under 30’ this wash service is $6 a foot. This wash specializes in removing salt, grime, and stubborn stains. 

Boat wash under 60’

For a boat under 60’ our wash service is $8 a foot. This wash specializes in removing salt, grime, and stubborn  stains. 

Boat wash over 60’

For boats over 60 feet, please inquire for a quote regarding our boat washing service.

Hull wax

A hull wax starts at $20 a foot for boats under 30 feet. Inquire for anything bigger.

Detail

Our detailing service starts at $50 an hour for boats under 30‘. Please inquire if you are looking for a detail on a bigger boat.

Rinse

If your looking to just have someone rinse the salt off after cruising. Our prices starts $2 a foot up to $6 a foot depending on the size.
